Lies
They all lied to you. Your guru. Your broker. Your mentor.
But today I will tell you the truth. This might be a deep post or this might be a nonsense one but let me try. What type of trader are you? You will probably say “I’m a day trader” ” I’m a swing trader” “I’m a position trader”. What type ba yung best? None! Anu set up o style nyo mg trade? Trend follower?Breakout trader?Bounce trader? Momentum trader? Reversal Artist?Buy on support, sell on resistance?
Ano ba best?NONE!
It’s crazy how traders think na all they need to improve their trade is a good system or strategy to follow. Kahit sa mga seminars. They will teach you pano magplot fibo ret. Paano mag identify different support at resistance etc. And u sit there thinking na pag natuto ka nyan gaganda trades mo. NOPE.
You want the truth?Yung tipong bahala na masaktan basta truth? I will give it to you.
MOST OF U WILL FAIL. The reason is not dahil di kayo magaling. The reason is you don’t know how to trade. This will surprise a lot of you. Meron pa nga siguro violent reaction. But stay with me at magegets nyo din nimean ko.
Una.Your schedule. Yung trading set up mo ba or style eh fit ba sa schedule mo? Ofw ka. May time difference sa pinas. Mahilig ka pa mg scalp or magbounce trade.
Next. Ugali mo.
Dalawang chart pa lang tinitingnan mo same time lito kna tapos 10 stock laman port mo.
Fourth. Emotion.
Kilalanin nyo sarili nyo.
E bagay nyo trading style nyo sa schedule nyo. If near closing ka lang pwede sumilip sa market eh di find a strategy na it takes days bago gumalaw or find a stock na days bago gumalaw. Umiwas sa mga volatile. If dami ka naman time umiwas sa mga mababagal ksi maiinip ka lg at mgbebenta ng wala sa oras.
Kapag mainipin ka naman. E design mo system mo sa ganun. Dont plan to buy a stock at e keep it for month ksi mgsstruggle ka lang. Laging mgtatalo pgiging mainipin m at patience and eventually mgbebenta ka early only to find out na si phen nasa 2.5 na.
Most important sa pgtrade e kilalanin nyo self nyo.
Personality nyo. Then design your system or strategy based doon. As I said this post might be deep or it might be nonsense. I hope this helps. Goodluck sa trades.

To be completely honest, this advise of “get to know yourself” (or eventually get to know yourself) – is something I’ve heard from my friends who have been trading for sometime now, but I almost always fail to understand why they keep on telling me na kilalanin ang sarili ko. I thought it was just cliche. Just another random phrase na di ko maiintindihan.
I thought I know myself na – but iba pala. (hindi to identity crisis ha. lol) – what I meant to say is, I heard it before, but the thing is it wasn’t explained like this. I appreciate you being brutally honest with us, when you said “most of us will fail – because we don’t know how to trade”. Which is the absolute truth. We’ll never excel in trading overnight, and the fact that we don’t have that much of experience and don’t know much of how trading works – we really are bound to make some losses. Noone becomes a perfect trader overnight, or by simply joining a 4 hour seminar – and that I firmly believe is a FACT. Hindi dahil nag-attend ka ng tig Php25K na seminar eh you’ll turn out to be a better trader in an instant – pwedeng, may matutunan ka for you to use in your future trades, but don’t expect na kinabukasan, hindi na pula yung port mo. This is where the beauty of being part of TL comes in. People may not realize it – but Ms. GK’s advocacy to help us become better traders (doing it for FREE) – is something na magkakaroon eventually huge benefits for us in the future – if we’ll stick around and keep on learning. Magkakatalo nalang tayo sa drive on how determined are we to make better trades based sa mga learnings dito.
So sino na nga ba ako? – I’m a newbie trader – who understands that along the way I may still make mistakes, kasi marami pa akong kailangang matutunan. I for one, attended a seminar too – pero hindi naman ako tinuruan doon kung paano magbasa ng charts, kung pano makakatulong ang strong foundation on TA and FA. Dito ko yun natutunan. May binayaran ba ako para matuto? WALA. Libre lang.
Oh, ikaw na nagbabasa, pumili ka. 😀 Choice is yours.
Happy trading!
