Long-Term Trader Kuno!

I asked traders what was wrong sa pic na to and I get different responses. Meron nagsasabi dahil sa hype kaya ganyan. Meron nagsasabi dahil di marunong magcutloss agad. Iba iba ang opinion. What i will tell u now is important.

Imagine yourself buying a stock at bumagsak. Then, you calm yourself down sa idea na longterm ka naman at mga short term moves are nothing sa longterm goal mo. You keep holding on sa stock. Everyday you check minsan walang changes but most of the time bumabagsak lalo. A week passed by at di mo na ma take so you sold it at any availble price. You feel relieved. Next day umangat yung stock na yun and you blame yourself na sana pinanindigan mo na longterm ka. Next day umangat pa ulit so di ka nakatiis bumili ka. A year from now taas na neto. Two weeks gone by at di gumagalaw nainip ka so binenta mo. Only to have it go up after two days. You are pissed. Feeling mo ang malas mo.

What’s wrong sa trader na to? I will answer that for you.

Yung problema ng trader na to has nothing to do with hype or yung hope. Yung gusto niya is longterm. Pero yung ugali nya at schedule eh pang swing trade or pang short term trade. Nagkakaroon ng pagkakaclash which di nya naman narerealize or nakikita. Akala nya biktima siya ng hype or hope.

How to adjust your trading style sa personality mo?

Ganito. Ask yourself sa schedule mo. Marami ka bang time magcheck ng market araw araw? That’s suited for daytraders. May work ka ba at once or twice ka lang maka check ng market araw araw? That’s suited for swing traders na inaabot days to weeks mula buy and pagsell. That’s suited sa mga position traders or longterm traders.

If longterm ang views mo pero lagi ka ngchecheck maybe its time to switch. You may appreciate the benefit ng longterm traders pero di yan yung FIT mo. Gusto mo magswing or magdaytrade kasi marami ka nakikita gains lagi sa mga post ng ibang traders pero wala ka naman time mgbantay sa market. Maybe need mo e switch ang pgtrade mo into longterm. I use the term longterm sa pag describe sa position trading kasi yan naiintindihan ng newbies.

So, try ninyo e check if FIT ba ginagawa ninyo sa personality at schedule ninyo.
